3rd International Youth & Peace Forum

The tragic incidents that we have been going through recently reminds us how badly we are in need of peace. For this reason, it has become a necessity for all the people to learn and internalize to understand diversity, equity and inclusion despite our differences through talking and debating. With the sponsorship of Yaşar University, we are excited to invite young people between the ages of 18-25 to the 3rd International Peace and Youth Forum which will be held again in İzmir between 21- 25 April 2024 with the title "Create Hope For Peace".

RI District 2440 aims to bring approximately 75 young people, consisting of Rotaractors of our district and Non-Rotarian foreign or Turkish youngsters, together in order to talk about peace in the world. The three-day program includes workshops, presentations, cultural excursions and entertainment programs where participants will socialize and commingle.

This Forum also aims to give Turkish families the opportunity to become more familiar with the international youth and help to improve the warm relations among the participants through culture and friendship.

The registration due date for the 3rd International Youth & Peace Forum in Izmir is 30 March 2024.

The language of the Forum will be English, and no translators will be provided. The participants are expected to have fluency in English for efficient communication.

We kindly request our sponsor Rotary Clubs to pay a 200,00 Euro fee for each applicant for accommodation, food and local travel expenses that will be provided by the organization committee. Participants are expected to organize, fund and inform the dates for their arrival and departure dates to/from İzmir by themselves or Sponsor Rotary clubs, after receiving confirmation from the organization committee.
